Alpaca Experiences at Trench Farm
Come along to our farm and take our cuddly boys for a scenic walk around our farm. Why not book our Alpaca Picnic Experience and finish the activity with a private and secluded picnic in ‘The Hut’. Name a better way to spend a couple of hours? Go on, bet you can’t!
Each package is totally exclusive- just you and your group!
How Does It Work?
You’ll arrive at the farm, patiently (in some cases impatiently) waiting to meet your new best friends!
The Walk
Our walk takes 30-40 minutes and you get the full farm experience. Our walk is mostly flat, starting on a lane and then continuing around the green fields where you can take in panoramic views of the North Coast countryside. If you’re lucky you’ll get to meet some of our sheep and goats along the way. We can promise you a quiet and peaceful activity that is so unbelievably cool at the same time!
The Picnic
If you choose to continue the fun and book either of our Picnic Experiences, your walk will lead you to The Hut. This little spot is nestled within the trees with nothing to distract you but leaves rustling and birds chirping. This is without a doubt the most peaceful setting to relax after a lovely walk through the fields. Here is where we have your scrumptious picnic waiting for you. This includes;
- A homemade Charcuterie Box (cured meats, selection of cheese, crackers, olives, hummus, fruit and vegetables)
- Local tasty treats (‘Delish’ fudge, Glens of Antrim crisps)
- Something bubbly…
*Please note that substitutes can be provided if there are any dietary requirements, however, the general gist of the picnic will remain the same*

Opening Times
Alpaca Experiences are available on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Time slots are;
Mon – Fri:
4.30pm-6.30pm
Sat -Sun:
Morning: 10.30am – 12.30pm
Afternoon: 1.30pm – 3.30pm
Evening: 4.00pm – 6.00pm
(All customers must arrive 5/10 minutes before their allocated time slots)
You will be more than welcome to stay a bit longer and spend some time with our other animals before you go!
