Bring your family (2 adults & 2 kids) for a fun day out at Trench Farm! Explore the beautiful North Coast countryside on a 30-40 minute walk with your very own 2-4 alpaca companions. After your walk, relax in a private Hut with a delicious picnic just for your family. Grown-ups can enjoy a savoury charcuterie platter, while the kids get their own tasty picnic boxes filled with treats they’ll love.

Old shoes/boots are heavily advised. You will be walking through fields that can be very wet and mucky, with long grass. Depending on the weather, a good coat will be your friend as well. Just remember that we are very much a working farm.
All visitors are expected to arrive 5/10 mins before your slot. This allows enough time to get ready to go to ensure you make the most of your 2 hour slot.
We are based just 5 minutes outside of Ballycastle. Follow the map on our contact us page or pop our address into your map and it will take you right to us!
Alpaca Experiences are available on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Time slots are;
Mon – Fri:
4.30pm-6.30pm
Sat -Sun:
Morning: 10.30am – 12.30pm
Afternoon: 1.30pm – 3.30pm
Evening: 4.00pm – 6.00pm
(All customers must arrive 5/10 minutes before their allocated time slots)
You will be more than welcome to stay a bit longer and spend some time with our other animals before you go!
