The North Coast and Causeway Coast and Glens area have so much to offer. Whether you are looking for great walking locations, stunning views or just a fun way to spend a morning or afternoon.
If you are staying in our cottage or campsite you have lots of phenomenal sights right at your fingertips. We are lucky enough to have an uninterrupted full view of Knocklayde Mountain and whilst it is amazing to look it, you can also head off for the day and climb it! You could pack one of our Breakfast Boxes or Charcuterie Boxes in a bag, get your walking boots on and head up Knocklayde where you can take in views of all of Ballycastle and beyond. It can take up to 2.5/3hrs to complete and we are happy to give any tips or directions on how to get there!
If you are looking for a flatter terrain, take a walk along to sea to Marconi’s Cottage in Ballycastle. Park up at the beach and dander along whilst taking in amazing views of Fairhead and Rathlin Island. You might even be lucky enough to spot some dolphins or seals popping up out of the sea to say hello!
Instead of looking at Fairhead, why not drive up and take a walk to the cliff edge where you will be met with epic panoramic views of Rathlin, Mull of Kintyre and beyond.
